AT first the thought of badgers causing havoc on a Swindon estate seems cause for amusement.
But residents of Lawn aren't laughing, as the creatures are tunnelling under their homes and putting their foundations at risk. An electrical substation is also being inspected to ensure there is no damage.
Surely there is someone who can be called in to remove the badgers quickly and humanely.
Up to now the key strategy seems to rest on using lion dung and wind chimes to frighten off the beasts; let's hope the badgers aren't intrigued enough to stick around.
