Eldene Colts have finally brought their trophy drought to an end after six years of trying.
The under 15 outfit had endured a fruitless half-dozen years, until the perennial bridesmaids cleaned up at the Blunsdon Colts Sixes to collect some long overdue silverware.
In typical Eldene style, they made hard work of it, winning the semi by way of a penalty shoot-out.
"We are all absolutely delighted," said assistant coach Dave Farrell. "We have waited a long time to win something.
"The way the lads held their nerve in the shoot-out was fantastic.
"It was no more than we deserved and it was a great day for everyone connected with the Club."
Eldene are still looking for more players and anyone interested in joining should contact Dave Farrell on 01793 336528.
