A NAIL art and beauty workshop presented by a TV beauty expert proved an end of term treat for girls at Rodbourne Cheney Primary School.
Girls from Year Six were shown how to create designs by Georgina Akers, a beauty expert who has appeared on the ITV show, This Morning.
Christine Norton, year 6 class teacher, said: "It was really great. They had a wonderful time painting their own nails and trying to outdo one and other. They even did their teacher's nails.
"It was a leaving treat because they will be going on to secondary school."
Georgina has had nine years' experience in the beauty industry. She has appeared on television to demonstrate how to apply tattoos with an airbrush.
She said: "It's fantastic that the nail and beauty industry is being given the chance to provide positive role models for the pupils and I hope this will be the start of many more nail and beauty workshops in schools."
