WE always knew that Swindon people are second to none when it comes to generosity.
But their warm-hearted response to the story of four-year-old Charlie Jarvis who has a rare form of cancer has been absolutely amazing.
Where else would citizens dig in their pockets to the tune of £40,500 in just one week to try to prolong the life of a child they do not know?
This is more than half the sum needed to pay for the treatment which Charlie is having in Texas and which the NHS could not provide.
So please, please keep up the giving.
