CRASH victim Alan Myers has presented £1,500 to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance as a thank you to the paramedics who saved his life.
Mr Myers, 41, of Pewsham, Chippenham, was airlifted to hospital in Bath after the accident in June last year the town's Rowden Hill.
He was off work from his job at Swindon-based power company Innogy for six months after suffering life-threatening injuries.
Mr Myers handed over the cash to paramedic Richard Miller, who was the first ambulance man on the scene and stayed at his side throughout the ordeal.
Mr Myers, whose sons Steven, eight, and Kieran, six, helped him make the presentation, said: "Mr Miller took control and I just wanted to say thank you.
"The air ambulance took five or six minutes to get to the hospital. The service is so essential and I wanted to make sure someone else will benefit."
Mr Myers' employers donated £500 to the appeal.
