BRAZILIAN midfielder Juliano Lima could bring a touch of Samba style to Hardenhuish Park after making his Chippenham Town bow in Saturday's 3-0 friendly win at Calne Town.
Juliano, 22, has recently moved to the town from Portugal and has been training with Tommy Saunders' side for the past two weeks.
He wants to forge a career for himself in this country and the Bluebirds could be his first stop should both player and manager like what they see during the pre-season campaign.
Juliano was raised near Sao Paolo, but moved to Portugal and turned out for Benfica's B team last season.
He was pleased with his Chippenham debut on Saturday and is hoping he will soon be able to adapt to the rigours of the English game.
He said: "My agent is looking for teams for me but I will probably stay and train with Chippenham for a while to get fit because they are a good team.
"The first game was really good. I enjoyed it. I played for Benfica team B last season, but the game is quite different in England.
"I don't know if I would even get into the team because my style is very different. Mine is more about one-twos and ball control. The English game is more about the high ball and kick and run."
Juliano arrived in Chippenham earlier in the summer to visit his wife Andrea's parents, who live and work in the town.
He has not ruled out a move back to Portugal, but will stay in the area for the foreseeable future.
Said Juliano: "The language barrier is not too difficult. The problem in the game on Saturday was calling for the ball and no t knowing all of the players names. If we play more together, it should be okay."
