LEA and Ashton Keynes have been voted Wiltshire's best kept villages.
Lea won the best small village category for the first time since 1986, while Aston Keynes won the best large village title for the fourth time in the last seven years.
Lea Parish Council chairman Paul Fuller said everyone in the village pulled out all the stops to get it spick and span for the judging.
He praised parish clerk John Parmiter and a number of other villagers who lent a hand where people were too old or otherwise unable to maintain their front gardens.
Coun Fuller also hailed the people who keep the grounds of the villages two churches trimmed and tidy.
