A £50,000 REWARD has been put up for the recovery of the family treasures stolen in last month's raid at Little Durnford Manor.
As reported in the Journal, heirlooms worth more than £1m were taken after intruders broke into the manor the Woodford Valley home of the Earl and Countess of Chichester on June 17.
The gang was disturbed by estate staff during the daylight raid but managed to escape with their haul.
Now the earl's insurers have issued a poster picturing 30 items of porcelain, clocks and other items stolen.
Mark Dalrymple, of London insurer Tyler & Co, which is handling the reward, said: "The money will be paid to anyone who has information that leads to the recovery of all or some of the property.
"But the reward will not be paid to anyone who was involved in the theft.
"Lord Chichester is particularly keen on recovering the property, as it is part of his family's history."
