MONEY continues to pour into the Charlie Jarvis Cancer Appeal.
The total stands at £40,500 and that is not just due to the efforts of large companies.
Youngsters moved by Charlie's plight are fundraising for the four-year-old, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma last year. Year Five pupils at Ferndale Junior School organised their own cake sale which netted £168.47.
Katie Cox, 12, from Devon Road, Swindon, baked some biscuits and sold them to friends at Hreod Parkway School, and five-year-old Daniel Uzzell from Highworth persuaded his family to join him on a sponsored walk around Coate Water to raise £60.
Events to come include a display of Irish dancing and music by one-man band John Quinn at the Castle Hotel in Prospect Place at 7.30 tonight.
Charlie is set to return from America tomorrow after her first visit to the Bruzinski Clinic in Texas. The family needs to raise £70,000 for drug therapy treatment that could prolong her life.
