AS a volunteer I would like to thank Marlborough Town Council and Kennet District Council for the support and help they have given to Mindfully Employed, a local project supporting people with current and past mental health problems return to employment.
We would like to say a big thank you to the Queens Head in Marlborough, which held a quiz night to raise money for the project, and we would also like to thank the businesses and individuals who have helped us to raise valuable funding in the last year.
Mindfully Employed needs to be recognised and used by the people that require our services and help, and supported by volunteers both in Marlborough or the villages. So if you have some time on your hands and you would like to help as a volunteer contact manager Georgie Banyard on (01672) 516393.
It is not possible to put into this letter all the achievements that have been made over the past few years, but if you are interested in learning more about Mindfully Employed, then please do come along to our garden open day on Saturday from 11am to 4pm. It is aimed to be a fun day with live music, stalls and refreshments. We are in London Road, behind the Post Office.
