DRESS rehearsals for one of the biggest shows in Melksham this year will begin on Monday, July 29.
More than 50 young people between eight and 18 will take part in a triple performance of the all-American favourite Annie next month.
Ex-George Ward School pupil Emma West, 21, started the ball rolling earlier this year, appealing for young actors, musicians and stage helpers to help out with the show.
Auditions were held at the Assembly Hall to pick the cast and allocate roles.
Miss West is part of the Melksham Young Musical Entertainers group which was responsible for putting on the Rock and Roll extravaganza at the West Wilts Show in 2001.
The three performances are being held at Melksham Assembly Hall from August 8. Anyone still wanting to take part in the show can call Miss West on (01225) 792194.
