Figures of the past will be brought to life at Trowbridge museum.
Romans in Wiltshire will be on their best behaviour for visitors to the exhibition on August 3 and on August 31 the museum surges ahead to the Tudor period.
Bess Yeoman will be demonstrating methods of medicine employed in Tudor times, using ingredients ranging from chicken's feet to spiders.
