CONCERN about how the decision to move the Wiltshire and Swindon Record office from Trowbridge was made will be addressed on Tuesday, July 30.
Organisations worried about how the decision was taken to move the office out of Trowbridge, including Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce and members of Trowbridge town council, will give evidence at the first meeting of the Scrutiny Record Office Task Group at County Hall.
Among those speaking on behalf of campaigners trying to keep the office in the county town will be town councillor Angela Milroy, Ann Mason of Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce and Glyn Bridges on behalf of the Trowbridge Civic Society.
The groups have already submitted written evidence for the meeting.
There will also be a question time session on August 1 to clarify any queries.
