Not content with signing a host of their former players, Chippenham Town are now following in Swindon Town's pre-season footsteps.
A week after Andy King's men ventured across the water to Newport Isle of White, the Bluebirds are to make the same trip.
After a sluggish start, Swindon managed to trounce the 'Port 6-1.
Tommy Saunders side are unlikely to have things quite so easy though, with just a division separating the two sides after Chippenham replaced Newport in the Dr Martens Premier Division last season.
Saunders will be travelling with a reduced squad as he disappoints 'at least three' of the trialists that have failed to impress him in Town's first two friendly fixtures.
The Bluebirds' boss search for a striker also continues, as he attempts to thrash out terms with a secret Southern League hitman.
A deal is unlikely to be reached in time for the forward to board tomorrow's ferry.
