THIS year's Wootton Bassett Festival will be a special one, commemorating the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
On August 3, High Street will be closed to make way for attractions aimed at people of all ages.
More than 40 groups have announced they will be taking part.
Attractions will include craft stalls, side shows, face painting, small fairground rides, giant games and trade stands. And for those who want to see what the future holds for them, a tarot reader has been booked.
A French market will also be set up, selling fresh produce and other items from across the Channel.
Street entertainment will include jugglers, clowns and stilt walkers.
The organisers are billing this year's festival as the biggest and best yet.
To cut down on traffic, a park and ride system will be provided. Drivers can leave their cars at the Ballard's Ash sports ground and Wootton Bassett School.
Beginning at 9.30am, buses will leave from these sites every 20 minutes.
Further details are available from Wootton Bassett Town Council on Swindon 850222.
