SWINDON police today appealed to two men who could help identify a man who carried out a serious sexual assault to contact them.
The two men, who police stress are innocent witnesses, were in the Gorse Hill area at the time of the attack on a 44-year-old woman in May Close on July 21.
The investigating officers are also keen to trace three men who were near the Co-op store in Cricklade Road, Gorse Hill, at about 2.30 am.
Police spokeswoman Alvina Kumar said: "The five males we wish to trace are not linked to the assault but are considered as potential witnesses."
Callers are asked to contact Swindon CID on 528111.
