Purton travelled to Trowbridge on Saturday and lost a Glos/Wilts game by 106 runs.
Batting first Trowbridge started slowly against some good Purton bowling, reaching 60-3 after 22 overs.
However Purton dropped two vital catches, allowing the home side to accelerate in the second half of their innings and finish on 201-6. The pick of Purton's bowlers was Tobias Bowler, returning figures of 2-24.
Purton had another poor start to their reply, losing Sheppard in the third over. Booth and Danny Dunn added 20 for the second wicket before Booth was adjudged lbw.
Gardner then joined Dunn, and they began to get on top of the opening bowlers, taking the score to 46 at the end of the 12th over.
But with the introduction of slow left arm bowlers Beel (5 -18) and Semkin (3-29) Purton collapsed 95 all out in the 38th over.
