Kendal Barry got the verdict in the latest open at Tockenham Lake with a fine 50-15-0 of skimmers and bream taken on the pole and the feeder.
Alan Scully came close with a similar catch taken on the pole but came short by just 3lb with his 47-10-0 bag. Joe Thompson had a carp in mainly skimmers and bream catch of 32lb taken on the pole.
Fourth was Derick Hillier with 26-5-0 of skimmers taken on the pole. Sections Robin Cope 26-2-0 and Graham Rose 24-4-0.
Despite losing three carp at Westleaze, Mel Mullen had no trouble winning the BCA with 9-10-0.
Second was Ray Bishop 2-8-0 and third Paul Wallis 1-10-0.
Eighteen teams competed in this years event to try and win the coveted Club Anglers League 4-a-side shield. In the end it was the red team from Coleview who outclassed the rest to run out easy winners with 61 points. The team members' score was Gary Davies 17 points (16-6-0) and John Morgan 16 points (14-10-0), John Sainsbury 15 pts (18-13-0) and Joe Thomson 13 pts (4-5-8).
Second place went to the Coleview black team. Leading the way for them was Bert Page 17 pts, Nigel Sawyer 14 pts, Mick Greening 11 pts and Alan Hanks 9 pts.
Third was the red team from South Cerney. Top man for them was Simon Jones 16 pts, Steve Upton 15 pts, Paul Thomas 10 pts and Andy Mattocks 7 pts. It was a draw for fourth place between Coleview gold and purple teams with 47 pts. Sixth place was taken by Wootton Bassett white team with 46 pts.
Bill Haddock made it three wins on the trot at Roughgrounds lake when he easily won Highworth's Alan Morton Shield with four carp for a fine 42-13-0.
Second was Nicky Stallard 12-2-0 carp and bits and third was John Major one carp for 11-11-8.
Denis Mulholland also made it three wins on the trot when he won the latest Plaums match at their lake. Denis stretched his lead at the top of the clubs aggregate by taking 39-14-0 from peg 9 fishing meat and pellet at short range on a pole.
Coming close was Steve Trimly who took 33-12-0 from peg 16 using long pole and pellet.
Third was Les Arbcaster taking 9-11-0 from peg 21 using maggot and pellet on a long pole.
A TOTAL of £103 was raised in a Charity match for Charlie Jarvis at Ivy House lakes. Winner was Mick Gale peg 24 with 53-8-0. Second was Larry Laine (peg 41) 35-10-0, third Mick O'Brien 28-12-0 (peg 21) and fourth was Dave Russell peg 33, 26-9-0.
Cloverleaf AC chose the Thames at Rushy for their match which was won by Nick Cheeseman 7-4-0; 2, Bob Fletcher 6-12-0; 3, Phil McKay 6-0-0.

The Peatmoor Dads and Lads match was won by Kevin and Daniel Franklin with a combined weight of 26lbs 8oz. Runners up were Mark and Scott McMurtry with 14lb 9oz and in third place with 13lb 9oz were Wayne Franklin and Pete Sarahs. Fourth place went to Gareth and Bryan Jackson with 3lb 1.5oz.
Top individual with 19lb 9oz was Kevin Franklin. Runner up with 10lb 12oz was Mark McMurtry and in third place with 10lb 5oz was Pete Sarahs.
The Peatmoor Summer League 3rd round 14-16 year old winner was Mark Kimber with 10lb 3oz. Runners up with 5lb 13oz was Martyn Howard and in third place with 3lb 14.,5oz was Gareth Jackson. The 10-13 year age group was won by Daniel Franklin with 6lb 15oz.
