Swindon Supermarine slumped to a surprise home defeat at the hands of Screwfix League Corsham last night.
A 23rd-minute Matt Pratley strike gave the visitors a 1-0 victory against a largely experimental Marine line-up.
Manager John Murphy made a host of changes for the hosts during the game, with many of the club's academy stars and fringe players enjoying a run out.
Marine could have salvaged a point had substitute Warren Fuller found the target with a second-half header but it was not to be.
At least Murphy can seek solace in the fact that close friend and former college John Freegard wasn't on target for Corsham.
Chippenham Town remain unbeaten during their pre-season campaign after an
entertaining 0-0 draw with Conference giants Yeovil.
The FA Trophy holders brought a full strength side to Hardenhuish Park, but Tommy Saunders' Bluebirds more than held their own.
Chances aplenty were created at both ends, with Michael McIndoe going close on three separate occasions for the visitors.
But Chippenham went very close themselves to snatching victory in an entralling climax.
Substitute Giles Harris fired wide with the goal at his mercy, Matt Rawlins flashed a strike across goal, and midfielder Mark Harrington clipped the bar with a stunning 30-yard volley - all in the final five minutes.
Yeovil still had time to have a Adam Stansfield header chalked off, and a decent penalty appeal turned down in the final seconds.
But Chippenham remain unbeaten and have yet to concede a goal ahead of their first Dr Martens Premier campaign.
