THE Citadel Gallery, which is housed in Chippenham Tourist Information Centre, is set to close after its current exhibition, called Home Art.
The exhibition has been created to provide inspiration for displaying and using art in the home.
It runs until August 31 and features 17 artists from around the country, with new work from Wiltshire artists Terry Buchanan, Ceinwen Davies, Pascale Barrett, Jenny Ford, Kay O'Sullivan, Christine Fenton, Dauntsey Lock Studio and Patrick Hallisey.
The range of pieces means visitors can choose between buying a dinner set, a unique painting, or a dining table and chairs that would become a feature of any room in the home.
For now, the Citadel Gallery will start a new lease of life as an exhibition section at North Wiltshire District Council's offices in the town's Monkton Hill.
The district council is also researching a new venue and is looking to form a working group.
