AUGUST 4: THOUSANDS of people are expected to attend the Chippenham Fun Day in John Coles Park on Sunday, August 4.
The free annual event will offer local families an afternoon of games and entertainment provided by the town council.
Clubs, businesses and organisations have joined in to help with setting up the fun event.
"We'll have lots of activities and games for kids, and it will be especially for families who might not be going away on holiday this year," said Emma King, town events and promotions officer.
The Fun Day kicks off at 2pm and closes at 5pm.

The town council is also organising a raffle, with prizes including a helicopter ride and a £100 travel voucher.
