Wootton Bassett's High Street Festival the town's major celebration of the Queen's golden jubilee takes place on Saturday, August 3.
It will run from 10.30am to 7pm. There will be stalls, a bouncy castle, children's fairground rides, balloon modelling, karaoke, clowns, jugglers, stilt walkers, gladiators, native American Indians, escapology stunts, giant games, a caricaturist, tarot reader, temporary tattooing, face painting, hair braiding, trade stands, bands, displays and craft stalls.
There will also be a French market
"This will be a wonderful festival come and join in the fun," said deputytown clerk Wendy Comley.
Borough Fields car park will be open but the High Street will be traffic-free between the mini-roundabout and Station Road junction.
A free park and ride will ferry visitors from the car parks at Ballards Ash Sports Ground and Wootton Bassett School, Lime Kiln.
The first bus leaves Ballards Ash at 9.30am and the service will run every 20 minutes. For more information contact the town council on (01793) 850222.
