TWO of Marlborough's best known painters Karon Staniland and Stella Harrison have their work on show at the weekend at Mrs Staniland's home in St Martins, next to the Royal British Legion Club.
Mrs Staniland formerly ran the Bazazzo Gallery in Silverless Street, and Mrs Harrison is one of the organisers of the Wiltshire Artists exhibition, which opens at St Peter's Church on August 9.
Mrs Staniland's work includes some of her latest gouache pieces painted during a visit to Greece earlier this year, together with landscape and still life drawings.
Mrs Harrison, of George Lane, is showing oil and watercolour landscapes of scenes in Holland, France and Spain.
Their paintings can be seen this Saturday and Sunday.
