Malmesbury Rugby Club, just starting their seventh season, have been granted full membership of the Rugby Football Union.
The club, previously only an associate member of the Wilts & Dorset RFU enjoyed a successful 2001/2 season, winning more friendly games than they lost.
Training has started on Wednesday evenings (7pm) at St Aldhelms Mead, and the club are also hoping to make use of the facilities at the Malmesbury Sports and Leisure Centre during the winter months. New players are always welcome.
CRICKLADE are gearing up for their second season back in the leagues and are looking for new recruits to bolster their campaign.
The club, who will compete in Dorset & Wilts Division 2 North, are training at their Fairview Fields ground on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7.30pm).
