Cirencester Town's friendly clash with Watford has been cancelled.
The Hornets were due to bring a reserve side to the Corinium Stadium this evening, but continuing problems with the new pitch has led to the game being scrapped.
The playing surface which has so far hosted three games still has large, bald tramlines running across it.
They were installed as a temporary measure to help long-term drainage.
But the turf is showing no signs of knitting back together so officials have decided to give the pitch a breather by calling the Watford game off.
A decision has yet to be made on the fate of next week's Gloucestershire Senior Cup Final against Bristol City, which is scheduled to be held at Ciren's new facility.
