DAVIES & DAVIES Estate Agents held a sponsored bike ride last month along the canal towpath from Bradford on Avon to Bath and back, a distance of approximately 19 miles.
The cyclists all collected sponsorship money before the event and some carried collecting tins with them on the journey, raising a total of over £600 for Julian House.
Julian House provide food and shelter for local homeless people as well as long term resettlement opportunities including drug and alcohol counselling and employment training.
Justin and Michele Davies, with their three children, joined members of staff from all four local offices with their families and friends.
Justin Davies said: "We all had a really enjoyable day and were delighted with the enthusiasm and support shown by everyone we met on the towpath. The children did exceptionally well to cycle so far and some even put their pocket money in the collecting tins.
"I believe that Julian House is an extremely worthwhile charity providing much needed help for those unfortunate enough to live on the streets and we were all pleased to be able to raise much needed funds for them."
Justin Davies is continuing his support of Julian House by joining the HPH team aiming to climb Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, in September. Anyone wishing to provide sponsorship can contact him on (01225) 753858.
