TROWBRIDGE got back to winning ways in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Division Two after losing a tight game to Redmarley the week before.
After being put in to bat, Trowbridge struggled to 68 for four after 25 overs and Purton seemed to have chosen the right option by bowling first.
But Ali Beard (75 not out), Chris Watts (48) and Rob Edgington (29) recovered the situation and the Trowbridge innings closed on 201 for six wickets.
Purton struggled in their reply, losing wickets regularly with only Mark Gardner putting up any defiance against the left arm spin attack of Mike Beel and Dean Semken.
Beel finished with figures of five for 18 and Australian took Semken three for 29 as Purton were dismissed for 95.
