A WRESTLER from Trowbridge is heading for glory in America.
Gareth Humphreys, 20, known to wrestling fans as The Gangster, will be heading for the US on August 9 to wrestle with the National Wrestling Alliance and the American Professional Wrestling Federation.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to it. We are hoping it will open up doors and that it will end up being a regular talent swap."
Mr Humphreys has been wrestling for 10 years, taking part in his first match at the age of 12. He coaches youngsters at the New Generation School of wrestling, where up to 20 youngsters can practice the sport.
Mr Humphreys will be going to the US with friend John Stallard, also known as Johnny the Body, and the pair will get the chance mix with top WWF wrestlers.
He said: "The styles in wrestling are very different in each country so it is going to be great to learn from each other."
American wrestlers, The Bubster and the Freebirdz, will be visiting Trowbridge in September.
