WOOTTON Bassett's High Street Festival, the town's major celebration of the Queen's golden jubilee, takes place on Saturday.
The fun is from 10.30am to 7pm and attractions include stalls, a bouncy castle, children's fairground rides, balloon modelling, karaoke, clowns and jugglers and stilt walkers.
There will also be escapology stunts, giant games, a caricaturist, tarot reader, face painting, hair braiding, bands and trade stands as well as a French market
"This will be a wonderful festival, come and join in the fun," said deputy town clerk Wendy Comley.
Borough Fields car park will be open but the High Street will be traffic-free between the mini roundabout and Station Road junction.
A free park and ride will ferry visitors from the car parks at Ballards Ash Sports Ground and Wootton Bassett School, Lime Kiln.
The first bus leaves Ballards Ash at 9.30am and the service will run every 20 minutes. For more information contact the town council on Swindon 850222.
