A QUARRY accident, in which a Swindon digger driver suffered back injuries, is being investigated by the Health and Safety Executive.
William Gwynitt, 37, of Headlands Grove, was trapped in his vehicle after it toppled over at Farmington Quarry, near Northleach on Wednesday.
He told the Advertiser: "I am in some discomfort and I had an overnight stay in hospital but I do not want to say anything else because there is an ongoing investigation."
Tara Barker, a spokeswoman for the HSE, said: "An inspector will be visiting the site and conducting a full investigation."
Mr Gwynitt's employer Earthline declined to comment.
