SEVEN men accused of a quarter of a million pound plus fraud from the Nationwide Building Society have appeared before a judge at court.
No pleas were entered by the men, five of whom are from London, one from Lancashire and the other from the Gorse Hill area of Swindon, when they appeared at the town's crown court.
Nadeem Alyas, 26, of Higher Antley Street, Accrington, Waseem Alyas, 25, of Onslow House, Acre Road, Kingston, Surrey, Sandeep Gill, 27, of Kingsley Avenue, Hounslow, Ronald Kimmel, 58, of Inverness Terrace, Bayswater, Sohale Rafiq, 29, of Cricklade Road, Swindon, Diljan Saggar, 37, of Shaftesbury Avenue, Norwood Green, Tristan Somaiya, 21, of Bilton Road, Greenford, are all charged with a conspiracy to defraud the Nationwide.
The alleged conspiracy involving £295,000 took place in August and September last year and involved the Ealing Broadway branch.
The case was adjourned to October 25.
All seven men were released on conditional bail to return on that date when they are expected to enter pleas.
