PUPILS from class four at Broad Hinton Primary School have designed a weather vane to put on top of the school's new building.
It is hoped the new building should be complete by the end of the spring term.
A combination of the children's ideas was used to come up with the final design, which was based upon the surrounding countryside.
The children had the opportunity of forging metal to construct the weather vane under the supervision of Artist Blacksmith, Melissa Coles of Marlborough.
The project was funded by a grant made available to small schools, which the school decided to invest in enhancing the art curriculum.
