TEENAGE mugger Suzannah Dickenson has been remanded in custody after admitting robbing a schoolgirl.
The 18-year-old, who has had drug problems in the past, stole the handbag and mobile phone of her 15-year-old victim.
Nick Hawkins, prosecuting, told a judge at Swindon Crown Court that though the offence, committed during the daylight hours of July 24, was premeditated the victim was picked at random.
He said that Dickenson, who had no previous convictions, had been on conditional bail before the hearing but no longer had an address where she could live.
Dickenson, formerly of Stansfield Close, Toothill, admitted one charge of robbery.
Andre Hobson, defending, said that his client had a history of drugs and mental health problems which would need to be looked into.
Judge Charles Wade adjourned the case so pre-sentence reports could be prepared and remanded Dickenson in custody.
