Wiltshire's Kevin Nash dismantled the Berkshire order in the first day of the Minor Counties Championship Western Division clash at Reading.
Nash, who plays club cricket for Bashley, claimed five wickets for the loss of 96 runs, as Wiltshire dismissed the hosts for 278.
The visitors had time to race to 57-1 before the close of play.
Russell Rowe was the only casualty, falling for 28.
The Optimists' Kevin Blackburn was resuming batting duties today after collecting a quickfire 26 against the Berkshire bowlers.
