The Devizes Town managerial saga is set to rage on this week, with a decision not due until tomorrow at the earliest.
After Don Rogers turned down the vacant position last week, the Devizes board have switched their attentions and interviews have been carried out over the weekend.
Further applicants will be seen today, before the board reconvene to make a decision tomorrow.
One candidate to emerge is former Cirencester Town boss Ray Baverstock, who quit his Corinium Stadium post in the summer.
Four other 'high profile' names remain in contention for the post, although whether any of them were present to watch the managerless side entertain Highworth on Saturday remains to be seen.
The game finished 2-2, with Dave Webb and Ben Cleverley scoring for Highworth.
A Simon Drewitt brace gave Devizes fans something to smile about as they await the arrival of the new manager.
