BRINKWORTH teenager Carey Logan helped plant a golden acacia tree in the grounds of Westonbirt School to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
Head girl Carey, 17, helped plant the sapling in the shadow of the school's Grade I listed house. She joined one of the youngest pupils, 11-year-old Eleanor Field from Cirencester and bursar Peter Story.
The private school is strongly associated with trees because its building belonged to Robert Holdford, the founder of Weston-birt Arboretum, which has now been designated the National Arboretum.
