Broad Hinton Paralympian Anne Dunham has arrived in Holland hoping to add another prestigious title to her collection.

Dunham is preparing for the Dutch Open Dressage Championships for the Disabled one of the few events she has never won.

The experienced rider, who struck gold in the Sydney 2000 Paralympics, is hoping to beat a superb 95-strong field in the three-day Helvoirt event which begins on Friday.

"I competed here many years ago, but it was nowhere near as big an event as it is now," she said. "I came second all those years ago, so hopefully I can go one better.

"It is a big, truly international field, but I've faced many of them before, so I think my chances are pretty good."

Dunham qualified for the championship via two national trials in Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire. She joins a seven-strong British contingent in Holland, where she will be riding the Hilary Hughes-owned Rony.

The multi-time world champion goes into the event in fine form, having secured the RDA National title that had eluded her for so long last month.

"I'd always just missed out on that title," she said. "I have finished second a number of times so I was delighted to win it.

"It was even more satisfying to do it on my own mare Colbridge Sequin. I've owned her since she was six months and she's 12 years old so that was extra special for me."
