Purton lost at Redmarley on Saturday by 33 runs in a rain-affected game.
Batting first, Redmarley made a steady start, producing a first wicket partnership of 105 in the first 25 overs.
After this the home batsmen attacked some erratic bowling and closed their innings on 241-5 with Booth the pick of the bowlers, picking up 2-31.
Through out the tea interval and beyond, rain meant at the resumption Purton now required 161 off 30 overs to win.
Despite keeping up with the run rate Purton lost three early wickets. A stand of 36 between Sheppard and Gardner took the score to 73 at the end of the 13th over.
With runs easy to come by the visitors were beginning to get on top until a dubious lbw decision went against Gardner, finishing the fourth wicket stand, and when Sheppard was caught in the next over Purton's reply was faltering.
Despite an unbeaten 32 from Tobias Bowler, Purton fell 33 runs short of their target, giving Redmarley their sixth win in their last seven games.
