SALISBURY is to hold an Earth Festival on Septem-ber 7-8, to mark the tenth anniversary of the United Nations Earth Summit, held in Rio, and this autumn's World Summit on Sustainable Development, in Johannesburg.
The fair will take place on Ashley Green, near the leisure centre, from 10am to 6pm each day.
It is organised by the South Wiltshire Agenda 21 Forum, working with Salisbury district council, and will be the only large-scale celebration in the country of the tenth anniversary of the Rio meeting.
