SWINDON College 2nds proved too strong for their Supermarine counterparts as they ran out 66-5 winners.
College's pack was in rampant mood and the back row of Brant, Godspell and Honnie scored two tries apiece.
Woody Briggs played his first senior game, at the age of 17, at lock while father Adey, 28 years his senior, had an outstanding game.
The older Briggs scored his first try of the season, Darvel also scoring a brace of tries on his 52nd birthday.
Other scorers were chairman T Walters, D Walters and Sharp, with Robo kicking two penalties.
Supermarine's reply was an excellent try by Bruno.
WOOTTON Bassett 2nds promising early season form came to a shuddering halt as they were well beaten 20-0 by MInety's first string.
Bassett travelled hoping to continue the form that saw them beat Bath side Oldfield Old Boys the previous week.
Unfortunately their fortune did not last and Minety triumphed comfortably.
The home side displayed well-drilled moves both in the forwards and back division and left Bassett having to defend for large periods of the game.
Bassett captain Gary Mander, who had been drafted into the 1XV's match against Gloucestershire side Painswick at the 11th hour, said "From reports of the performance, it means the team have a lot of work to do before tackling Redingensians away on Saturday".
