On Sunday, September 22, the Countryside Alliance is staging a march in central London as a protest against the rules and regulations that our Government are trying to enforce upon the countryside.
Some of the most beautiful scenery in England is in Wiltshire. Most of us enjoy the stunning views from the top of Wroughton hill, looking across the valley towards Wootton Bassett or to see the picturesque Lambourn Downs from the top of Barbury Castle and back southward to the Marlborough Downs.
We enjoy these fantastic spectacles thanks to generations of farmers and country folk who have made their lives' work of tending and maintaining our glorious heritage.
The essence of our rally next month is to fight for the right to continue this work, with a little help from Mother Nature, but unhindered by bureaucracy handed out by people in Whitehall who have no idea of country living.
Arrangements have been made for transport into London on trains and buses. If you would like to join us, or require any further information, please contact the march office on 0900 102 0900.
