IN order to achieve the end of terrorism across the globe, what is needed is a strategy that will render it worthless, unattractive and unnecessary.

Capitalist colonisation is its root cause and the inexorable route to warfare. Capitalism can only exist, persist and engorge with money as its weapon, used as it is to inflict capitalism's pernicious conditions on those least able to resist them, and backed with force of arm.

The abolition of money would nullify the oppression of capitalism and lift our world into a caring and sharing scenario, making terrorism a most unpopular solution for the people of all the nations presently nursing understandable grievances and so lead to their withdrawal of support and sanctuary for terrorists.

Corruption, especially in the developing countries, would be almost non-existent and what might remain would be easily recognised and removed, eg Zimbabwe. Pollution and world health concern would achieve higher status, human beings becoming more precious, valued and economically necessary.

Scientific development and space exploration could receive a huge boost, benefiting from the resource and human waste avoided.

We must face the facts. Failure to do means that, one way or another, we are going to need another habitable planet in a relatively short time.
