YET again a Conservative councillor shows that constructive debate and co-operation between political parties is and will continue to be an illusion in Swindon. It was not very long ago the three group leaders promised a new start.
His words "While they (Labour) remain the largest political group, it will be for the Labour Party to correct the errors" show clearly that the Conservatives are not prepared to work with other parties for the benefit of the residents of Swindon.
If councillor Lister thinks he was voted into office to cherry pick his way, he is very much mistaken.
I have a question for Coun Lister: while Kevin Small is trying to bring all members of the council together, what will he and his party be doing co-operating or sulking?
