Bath and England forward Danny Grewcock will appear before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel in Coventry next Tuesday.
The Bath captain was sent on Sunday for illegal use of the boot in the league clash Saracens at Vicarage Road.
Saracens skipper Kyran Bracken Grewcock's England colleague and former flat-mate suffered a nasty cut to his jaw as a result of the incident.
Grewcock, a Test Lion in Australia last summer, could be banned for 12 weeks, which would destroy his chances of facing England's November opponents New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
He is however, free to play for Bath on Saturday at home to Wasps.
