THE parents of teenager Leanne Cox are worried sick because she has gone missing without trace.
Leanne, 16, of Swindon, is believed to have run away to Chippenham with her boyfriend.
But her parents Jane and Steve are desperate for her to get in touch they have not heard from her since she disappeared on August 27.
Mrs Cox, 37, said: "All we want is a phone call to put our minds at rest. We are extremely anxious because normally Leanne would let us know she is safe and well."
Her father said: "It is very strange for Leanne to vanish without telling us where she is going. We are not asking for her to come home, but want to know that she is okay."
Leanne was last seen by Mrs Cox's brother-in-law at Swindon bus station.
"She told him she was going to Bournemouth and had enough money to get there. But her boyfriend recently made a call from Chippenham to his ex-girlfriend, so we think she has gone there," said Mrs Cox.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on (01793) 528111.
