Rodney Cundict from Corsham was named overall winner at the Chippenham Garden and Allotment Society's 34th annual show.
Plump potatoes, large marrows and a fabulous array of flowers went on display at the show on Saturday.
Hundreds of classes were included in the event at the Neeld Hall, with contests for the best flowers, fruits and vegetables.
Secretary Sue Norfolk said the children's classes were particularly popular this year, with youngsters creating miniature gardens, animals modelled from fruit and vegetables, flower arrangements and crafts.
Adult handicraft classes were also popular, with prizes for knitted items, greetings cards and jewellery.
The photography section attracted a record number of entries and for a new class, called Master Gardener, entrants had to produce an arrangement of both flowers and vegetables.
