n SOCIAL side Malmesbury are the local antidote to the pressures of league rugby.
With no promotion or relegation issues to worry about the club's main aim is to get its one side as many wins as possible against teams of comparable quality.
But they have still managed to secure a useful deal with local employer Dyson, who will sponsor a set of shirts for the new season.
Skipper for the season is Craig Sillars, who will continue to lead from the back row.
Meanwhile ,new recruits, drawn mainly from the Forces, have continued to arrive.
Among those confirmed are Nick Brady who is being posted to Hullavington with the Army and Nick Jen, brother of Leo, who was an occasional player last season and has just completed his degree at Loughborough and started a job with Dyson.
The club will continue to play matches at Malmesbury Cricket Club.
