FASHION shop Spirit has had such success since it opened in Devizes three -and-a-half years ago proprietors Rose and Roy Webster are to open a second shop in Frome next week.
Mr and Mrs Webster are self-confessed shopaholics but Mrs Webster was concerned no clothing shop in Devizes catered for women in the 20 to 50 age range.
The couple took a lease on part of printers and stationers Springfords and Rose's premises in Old Swan Yard.
Mrs Webster said: "We didn't expect things to take off quite as quickly as they did. We obviously filled a niche in the market. Being in Old Swan Yard also helped because it has been so beautifully done and there is now a nice mixture of interesting shops here."
When Springfords and Rose decided to close the stationery shop, it was logical for Spirit to expand into it.
Now they want expand again and Mrs Webster says that Frome is the obvious place to go, as it is similar to Devizes.
Mrs Webster said: "Opening in Frome is a gamble but then so was opening our first shop and that has succeeded brilliantly."
