MARLBOROUGH youngsters who have outgrown their Lego building bricks are being urged to come to St Peter's Church to sell them and help raise money for St Peter's Junior School.
Mum Audrey Ekstrm has organised the special sale at St Peter's Church on October 5 from 10am to 12pm, calling it Le'go of Your Lego.
She said: "Lots of teenagers may have stopped playing with their Lego and are looking to raise some money for another hobby or just to make some room in their bedroom.
"They can rent a table at £7 a square metre, which is equivalent to half a trestle table, and put their unwanted Lego on sale. We are limiting it strictly to Lego, or its other spin-offs like Duplo and Technics, so that people know exactly what they're coming along to see."
All the Lego must be in see-through plastic bags, kits should be made up if possible but oddment bags can also be sold. Instructions should be included with the kits where possible and all items should be clearly priced.
