PENSIONERS, transport operators, parish councillors and community organisations met to decide who should be entitled to cheap bus travel in Swindon.
A meeting was hosted by Swindon Council as part of its public transport forum.
It wanted ideas before reporting to councillors sitting on the transport, environment and neighbourhood services commission
The public transport forum considered how resources should be prioritised to meet the council's aim of improving public transport.
The meeting discussed whether the council should subsidise half fares for children and whether it should introduce a reduced rail fare scheme. Swindon Council is reviewing its concessionary fares and subsidised bus services as a result of a recommendation from a best value review.
The transport, environment and neighbourhood services commission will meet on October 8 at 7pm at the Civic Offices. The meeting is open to the public.
